From big cities to small towns, huge festivals to intimate gigs across Australia and the U.S.A, American chanteuse and fiddle player, Susanna Carman, entertains audiences with her unique brand of finger-style guitar, French fiddle and Appalachian Dulcimer, with a "flock of melodies that rarely sit there waiting for you to like them; they're too busy doing that cartoon birds-around-your-head thing." Bernard Zuel, SMH

She recently teamed up with Irish finger style guitarist and songwriter, Karl Farren, to form Mulberry Bend, an original acoustic duo merging contemporary Australian folk music with a 19th century Irish/blues fusion. The sensitive interplay between Carman's 'flock of melodies,' and Farren's 'back woods soul' approach to old-time, finger style guitar has earned them festival invites and 'sold out' concert performances. www.susannacarman.com/mulberrybend
